The meaning behind Ze'or

Some names carry a little bit of home in them. Ze'or is one of them. Drawn from Ziyur, the Sindhi word for jewellery, the name is a quiet reflection of our founders' roots — and of a culture where jewellery has long held a place close to the self. For us, that connection is less about ornament and more about identity. Jewellery becomes a signature, a memory, an instinct; something that slowly becomes so much a part of you that it is difficult to imagine yourself without it. Ze'or was born from this idea: that the most meaningful jewellery is the kind that feels like you.

There is a modern paradox to jewellery today. We're encouraged to invest in precious pieces, only to tuck them away safely in a locker, waiting for the "right" occasion to wear them. We prefer a different philosophy. Beautiful things deserve to be lived in — worn with a white shirt on an ordinary Tuesday, layered for dinner, mixed with what you already own, or simply flaunted because you feel like it. Ze'or is jewellery for the present — considered, expressive and made to be seen, worn and, most importantly, enjoyed.

Sana Jethani

Co-Founder

"I'm Sana, the Co-founder of Ze'or. Jewelry has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up admiring the jewelry my mother wore and fell in love with the sparkle of diamonds quite early on. After studying finance, I went on to study diamonds and jewelry and have spent the last eight years in the industry. But I always felt that our relationship with jewelry could be different. So many beautiful pieces are bought as investments and eventually end up sitting in a locker. I wanted to bring jewelry out of the locker and into everyday life.

That idea became Ze'or — a brand built around the simple belief that jewelry should be as natural a part of getting dressed as your clothes, shoes or bag. Something you can wear on a random Tuesday, to work, to coffee, or simply because you feel like it. I bring my love for diamonds, an obsessive eye for detail, and a belief that a beautiful finish can make all the difference to every piece we create. At its heart, Ze'or is really just my way of sharing my love for jewelry with more people."

"Hi, I'm Priya. My entrepreneurial journey began at 19, and for the past decade, I have grown through the world of business, working across departments, learning from the ground up and gradually taking on greater responsibility within our family enterprise. Rooted in that entrepreneurial legacy, I went on to co-found Ze'or with my sister, carrying those values forward while giving them an expression that feels entirely our own.

Jewelry has always held a special place in my world, and Ze'or is where that connection found its own expression. It is a space where our entrepreneurial roots meet a love for beauty, design, and the limitless world of jewelry. Every piece, collection, and detail is thoughtfully brought together to make jewelry feel personal, expressive, and effortless. In many ways, Ze'or carries forward the values we grew up with while giving them a fresh, creative identity of its own."
